We are a Puerto Rico-based consulting firm currently seeking a Business Analyst with experience in technology projects, business analysis, and consulting to support process and systems transformation and modernization initiatives.
We are looking for an analytical, organized, and results-oriented professional with experience working in dynamic technology project environments and the ability to support initiatives from requirements gathering through documentation, validation, and functional support across the various phases of a project.
This is an on-site position in Puerto Rico. Only candidates who currently reside in Puerto Rico will be considered. Candidates must be available to work on-site at client offices when required.
* Participate in technology and systems consulting projects from initiation through completion. * Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. * Prepare business analysis, functional design, process, and application documentation. * Support data analysis and information validation activities. * Participate in functional testing and system validation activities (SAT / SIT). * Prepare reports, meeting minutes, SOPs, manuals, presentations, and executive reports. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across multiple projects. * Support technology transformation and process improvement initiatives.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in consulting related to technology and systems. * Experience working on technology and systems projects. * Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements. * Experience preparing functional documentation, systems analysis, and process documentation. * Experience participating in functional system testing (SAT / SIT). * Experience working with systems, applications, servers, and databases. * Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; ITIL knowledge is preferred. * Knowledge of SDLC, WBS, and RACI. * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret information, identify findings, and develop recommendations. * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Bilingual in Spanish and English. * Availability to travel when required. * PMP certification is preferred but not required. * Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
